| Volunteers with the Charlotte Rescue Mission put in Easter morning kneeling more than the exhausted and worn feet with the city’s homeless population, hoping to spread some hope together the best way.
“We planned to make the like of God so real you could contact it,” claimed the Rev. Tony Marciano, government director in the Charlotte Rescue Mission.
In addition to its midday food, the organization’s Easter Sunday occasion bundled a partnership with Samaritan’s Ft to provide 218 pairs of shoes to visitors.
