| I only walk a mile at a time, then I come back inside to warm up and rest a little, before heading back out to walk another mile. Another reason I only walk a mile at a time is because I have very bad arches and flat feet which make walking painful. Even though I have feet that get very sore, I do not let this stop me from enjoying the benefits and enjoyment of walking in the winter.

An M16 is a puny little weapon designed to shoot a smaller caliber round 5.56 mm instead of 7.62mm. The M 16 is a very short high capacity magazine weapon and it actually looks rather silly with a bayonet on it. "Fix bayonets" is not what a any military guy/gal would want to hear if armed with an M 16. It has plastic stock and handguards so head bashing would not be its strong point. If I had to hump for miles in the jungle. I would take the M 16 but if I had to fight on a battle field and possibly at long distances. The M 14 wins hands down. Fact is the M 16 is not even in the same league for accuracy as the M 14.
That was really damned good. I don't know how long it can keep up the drama, and I guess maybe it shouldn't because there's only so far you can go with it, but I really loved this episode. Watching Haruka re integrate with society with the help of a pervert and some weirdos should be a lot of fun, and this show just put itself pretty high on my list of shows to pay special attention to in Winter 2013.

I did winter hiking in Sorels for years, even managed to strap crampons on them for above treeline climbing. I've since moved on to plastic boots for higher stuff but I pull out the Sorels for snowshoeing and other hikes below treeline. They're also great to have for shoveling snow or walking to the train in a blizzard.

Chances are you're going to see one co worker yawning and rubbing her eyes, another guy pulling the droopy lid zombie glare and one person who is as chipper and alert as a coked up bunny rabbit. How do we know? Because two out of three adult Americans are walking around sleep deprived, that's how. And we push our messed up sleep patterns off on our kids.
