There few posts I enjoy writing more than the classic type of list. For me, the analytical aspect of it and the song selection process are not only challenging but also entertaining.
If you think I should have included other songs in the list feel free to contribute your picks for the Latin songs you should hear before you die future list. Thank you and enjoy.

锘?0 Latin songs you must hear before you die
This time around putting the list together wasn any different than previous similar lists that I done in the past. As usual, the only problem was overcoming the elimination phase, which always tends to be a tedious and painstaking experience.
As a way to keep the list simple, the tracks weren placed in any specific order.
Whether you a republican or a democrat, it makes no difference, for you about to embark on a musical journey that blurs political barriers and pushes emotions to unimaginable heights. And besides, I doubt that either Obama or McCain has ever listened to any of these songs anyway.
Also thrown into the brew is a dash of AfroCuban son mixed with tango, Nueva Trova, pop, and altrock a serving that features all the key ingredients of the varied blend that has highlighted the best of Latin music for over a century.
Needless to say, there are hundreds of other timeless Latin tracks with solid interpretations, masterful arrangements and powerful messages of peace and love that could have made the list. But that will be another topic for a future post.
From oldtime boleros and salsa to reggaeton, the list boasts a wide array of classic and new songs from mainstream and alternative artists that will fire up or cool down any fiesta held anywhere in the world, depending on what you want the party atmosphere to be.
But after much thought and consideration, I finally wound up with a golden list of alltime Latin favorites that everyone on this planet must listen to before they die regardless of color, religion, sex, race or ethnicity.
Latin countries have spawned their share of master composers, virtuoso musicians and talented singers through centuries of musicmaking; so picking only 50 songs out of the thousands of samples proved to be quite a difficult task, but one that I truly enjoyed in the end.
